I've been using a Lapsaver for 2 years, light and fits easily in knapsack, and most importantly has kept my lap (and presumably nether regions) cool.

However, it's crystals are now past use-by date and I'm in the market for another portable cooling solution. 

The fan-based solutions look too bulky.

Should I get another Lapsaver or is there something else? Thanks.
