I use a Toshiba Satellite Laptop with windows 10. I have a problems when typing where the cursor jumps back from where it should be and starts typing in the text already typed. It's driving me crazy. I cannot think why it does it. I wondered if its the touchpad getting touched when typing. Is that likely? I usually use a mouse so don't really need the touchpad so could disable. Does anyone else have similar problems with laptops

"In the Settings app, click or tap on the Devices tile.

On the left column, click or tap to select the Touchpad.

Hit the switch "leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected."

Increase touchpad sensitivity

disable the various "tap" functions

Also I think there should be a setting to disable touchpad when typing? And/or increase the palm sensing sensitivity.
