Hi, I need a 3-4 port unpowered USB 3 hub, and there are hundreds of options on trademe.

I would like one that is of decent quality without costing a lot. [eg $10]

If anyone has any recommendations on quality ones that they've owned/used please let me know.

Many times I've bought these things and they are loose, way too tight, poor connection pins, etc and I'd like to avoid these if possible.

In terms of cabling, the longer the better! (Need it to connect 3-4 wired Xbox One controllers, away from the console)

Anker 3 port hub with Ethernet on Amazon.com, USB $25. Works great with my Surface Pro, about 100Mbps download which is the speed of my connection. It's more expensive than you want, and with more features than you need. It's a good brand.

Alternately, I have an $10 ebay one that works fine that you can collect in Wellington free or I would eventually post to you for the cost of postage. I think one of the four ports doesn't work, it's individually switched.

@freitasm NB Amazon link.

I use a plug-able 10-port USB hub with 9 or 10 ports in use. Never had any issues.
