Looking for a recommendation for a laptop repairer in Wellington.

The symptom is when the power cable is plugged in, the light on the charger turns off, and the laptop doesn't get any power.

Hi - it's probably worth checking that it isn't just the power adapter at fault - they generally take a bit more abuse that the laptop itself.

I'd suggest trying to borrow a power adapter from someone else or a retailer (or repairer) before just leaving the laptop with a repairer.

The only dealings with laptop repairers have been with Connect - just off Adelaide Rd. for Mac warranty repair and I found them to be very good.

Good Luck.

Cheers,
Mike
