I've recently been looking into buying an ASUS Eee PC Laptop/Netbook lately due to all the amazing modding i've seen people doing to it, anywhere from touchscreens, bluetooth, extra usb ports and mobile broadband cards has been successfully modded. If you wana check any out there's some wicked videos on youtube including complete walkthroughs of mods.

I was wondering if anyone on here has modded laptops much before and is willing to mod for me (obviously you would be paid for your services) if i supplied the laptop and parts? (e.g touchscreen kits are easily avaliable via ebay)

If not, does anyone know of a computer/electronics store that would have people capable of and willing to mod hardware? I don't care about voiding warranties and stuff like that I just don't trust my soldering skills and knowledge of wiring to mod myself.

Thanks

We would be willing to mod it for you, you've said you're not worried about voiding warranties etc so you'd simply have to sign an agreement that confirmed this in writing. You also need to be aware that modding something like an EeePC is not something that can be done quickly if done properly, so it would probably be quite costly if you're paying for the time involved.
