OK but has a Second Hard Drive which might be OK as SSD but only 8 GB RAM and 256G disk. You really need 16 GB RAM and 512 GB disk IMO.

Its 1920 x 1080 which is good.

I say no to this one, as the RAM is soldered on to the motherboard and you cannot upgrade it in the future.

Clients who buy machines like this usually end up retiring them early as they can't add a bit more RAM if its needed in a couple of years.

At this budget, I would also consider an used business grade machine.

This is a workstation which means it has a special graphics card for CAD software and the likes. But genreally such machines are very well built if a bit heavy.

8GB RAM / 256GB SSD is plenty for general use, education, business. I used one for business for years, doing lots of web browser stuff (AWS), development, modelling software (not 3D just architecture), word processing, etc. The only reason I went to a laptop with 16GB was because I wanted to run Linux VMs at the same time as using multiple web browsers and a development IDE.

HP Probook are great. PBTech has them with $100 cashback for a limited time - I got the probook for my wife and the cashback. Education 14" model $1150 less cashback, business model $1350 less cashback. The i5 10 series is really quite fast, and the laptop is solid.

I also generally rate Lenovo really highly based on the couple I've had for business. Not sure about that model, but if it meets your needs and reviews well sure get it even though you can't expand the RAM or hard disk.
