Acer Aspire AS5920G-5A2G25Bn, do ya all recommend or despise it?

I have searched the reviews on google but they all seem to be the HD-DVD version with 800MHz FSB ... hmm ... sorry my understanding of bluray players are a bit dodgy - confused by all the version 1.0, 1.1, 2.0 business. And i certainly have not had any experience with computers outputing HDMI (do they manage to get the sound into the signal do they?).
