NUC is NUC7i5BNH with:

1 x HDMI 2.0a
1 x USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 (Thunderbolt3 / DisplayPort 1.2)

Primary Monitor:

Philips BND3270QP, 32", 2560 x 1440 with:

DisplayPort 1.1/1.2
HDMI (don't know version, cannot find out)
DVI
VGA

Secondary Monitor (old)

Philips 2205 Plus, 1680- x 1050 with

DVI
VGA

I have a DVI to HDMI Adaptor, so am thinking of connecting the Philips 2205 to the NUC via HDMI port. I have tested this and adaptor is workig.

I think I need to use the Philips BND3270QP DisplayPort 1.2 port and buy a DisplayPort to USB-C cable e.g. Buy the Unitek V400A 1.8m USB 3.1 USB-C to DisplayPort Cable, Convert USB,... ( V400A ) online - PBTech.co.nz

I think I am correct in saying DisplayPort 1.2 will be better than the DVI Port. The DVI to USB-C cables seem to be nearly double the price of the other cable.

I tried my best to research this, so looking for confirmation or any alternative.

Both monitors are primarily used for surfing the web, YouTube and Microsoft Office Applications (Home and Working from Home).

Your solution looks good to me :)
