I need to replace the battery on my Thinkpad10 Type 20C1 Ser.# MP0792Z8. Lenovo NZ tell me that these are no longer available.

Can you guys help an old (85) geezer recovering from a hip replacement and still on morphine? An ebay search turns up a few pre-owned and others which which are not specified in enough detail.

Tia.

Does the battery have a model number written on it? Might be easier to search that way. A quick search doesn't bring back anything too promising. How old is the laptop?

It might be easiest to just email an NZ store. I found this website  ( http://www.notebookbattery.co.nz/ ) with Google, hit the "contact" link and tell them your laptop type. I can't vouch for that store.

You could try EMPR via the following link: https://store.emprgroup.co.nz/p-418658-45n1729.aspx

Try here (below) . Email them . You may need the model number of the actual battery .
Unfortunately , at worst it might cost you approx 1/2 what the laptop is actually now worth .
Can sometimes get cheap laptop batts on trademe
