Any decent suppliers of Dell screens in NZ that dont charge $500 for a $200 item ? :)

Have a Dell Latitude 5400 here with a smashed screen. FHD model.

Looked on Aliexpress, around $220 shipped for screen..... thought I'd check local before going any further :)

A lot of the panels are the same.  Last time I had one done, it was a small company I found via a TradeMe advertisement.  They were selling the panels, and in the fine print had a $50-ish fitting service.  Decided to pay that rather than DIY.  I was really happy with the result.

I've searched my email history but can't easily find which trader it was.

PB Tech also sell generic panels. Last time I got one was about $150 but that was a while ago.

You could contact them with the Dell model details and I'm sure they'd be able to provide a suitable replacement.

The last few repairs I've had done via Dell direct. And they've been fairly reasonable as they are already in-stock parts

No ham/foul logging a service call and explicitly say you are only requesting a quote only and you'll get a sales team send one in NZD valid for 3 weeks or so.
