My Dell XPS M1210 lap is not powering up and the battery is not charging. It's not the power supply/adaptor as this works fine on another Dell I have. The laptop was working fine up to the point that the battery went flat (which I now cannot re-charge).  This leads me to believe that the laptop might work off a charged battery (if anyone down Auckland Eastern bays could re-charge my battery for me on their XPS I'd really appreciate it so I can test this theory !!) If anyone has any thoughts about what the problem may be and whether the laptop can be economically repaired I'd appreciate it. And if anyone can recommend a PC repair person dopwn Eastern Bays (or nearby) in Auckland that would also be helpful.  Thanks Johnny M.
