I have a Dell Inspiron 9100 (P4HT 3.20Ghz, 1024Mb RAM, ATi Radeon 9700 128Mb) it went perfectly for the first couple of months but now the thing is SO slow and suffers from some serious heat issues.

I have run all the diagnostic programs on it, fans all working fine (which by the way sound like a 747 is landing in my bedroom) and even had it pulled apart and cleaned out and I had it sent back to Dell and checked but they could find nothing wrong with it.

I have reformatted and reinstalled windows serveral times but it still runs as fast as the 350mhz machine i have dumped in my garage.

I am really am out of ideas. I paid over $3500 for this and cant do without it, but its ruining my life. So if somebody has anything that would help then please share
