I received a Toshiba Qosmio F15 AV whose external remote control doesn't work, neither does it coontrol the Media Centre. Though the remote control receiver shows an LED light on when the remote keypad is pressed, nothing happens afterwards. I checked the control panel and there's no queried driver there. What do I do?

Please help

Welcome to Geekzone... Hard to say what's the problem, but when I had the Qosmio here for review it showed the same symptoms. Everything was solved when I put new batteries on its remote control.

Did you notice the light in front of the receiver when the remote keypad is depressed at the time it was giving you problems? Or no light came on at all?
