I'm sure most people have noticed that Harvey Norman were selling HP Mini netbooks for $288 as part of their Boxing Day sale, and I'm sure there are quite a few people on here who wanted one!

Out of interest, did anyone on here actually manage to buy one? (Excepting paragonOfGeek, who mentions he got one in another thread, and the few that I've noticed have turned up on Trade Me.)

I thought I'd pick one up -- I wasn't exactly there waiting for the store to open at 08:00, but I didn't slouch either and ended up visiting three different branches before 13:30... No sign of the things anywhere or that they even existed. They must have been selling them at well below cost, so did each store only have three in stock or something?!
