The original Alienware M11x is still available at the original price of NZD1699

The new i3-330UM now starts at the price of the original SU7300 at NZD1999.

The new i5-520UM(NZD65) and i7-640UM(NZD362) processors are also available as upgrades.

It is mooted that the new processors will increase the CPU performance for those purchasing the high-end systems.

The GPU remains the same with the addition of Optimus  on the i3 and i5 version.

Yeah was reading up on the Malaysian Dell site yesterday, looks awesome :)

Think I might have to purchase one when they are finally released in the US

Just not sure on i5 or i7 yet :( tough decision, will wait for some benchmarks maybe/battery life tests

It's confirmed that the i7 has Optimus too.
The VGA port has been replaced with a DisplayPort.

Oh yeah :) exactly what i wanted to hear, Optimus was going to be the deal breaker, since it's included...AWESOME!!!!!

Also the black ones have gone from shiny to matte black, so no more fingerprints, off to sell my home PC i think

And something for the Wife/Husband/Partner/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Mistress

Mmmm, 10.1" with Ion 2/Optimus tech, so it uses the 3150 integrated for most things, then the Ion for HD decoding/gaming

It's also in Matte black, so would complement an M11X well

The price of the M11x from Dell New Zealand has gone up across the board by NZD100.

The M11x i3-330UM has been removed and is no longer offered by Dell New Zealand

I notice Dell is now including 15 months McAfee software with the Alienware M11xR2(i5,i7)

This is fine if you use McAfee software, otherwise you should be able to get NZD64.00 off the price if you don't require/plan to use McAfee software.

Price increase by stealth. You've got to hand it to Dell for trying Wink

Will go for mine from Dell US store i think :) a lot cheaper, round $1542, with iCore5, 4gb ram, only 160gb hdd but I want at least a TB HDD in there, not going to pay 150US extra for a 500gb
