Hi Guys

So basically my problem is this, yesterday i go to turn on my laptop and it makes two loud beeps and then nothing - nothing comes on the screen at all. But all the lights like wifi, dvd, caps lock lights stay on until i hold down the on button to switch it off.

I have removed the hard drive and taken the ram out one at a time to see if they were the problem but this didn't help.

I am thinking this is the motherboard goen, but how can i be sure?
laptop is only 2 years old.

Is their anyway i can hook this upto my computer and run a program to check what is wrong?

Or is their anything else i can do to find my problem?

Thanks

Have you plugged an external monitor in to see if it displays anything?
Have you made sure all peripherals were unplugged?
Removed battery and tried on mains only, and vice versa?

What model is the laptop?  The beeps will give some indication of what the error is; some laptops have a further diagnostic mode which will tell you exactly what is malfunctioning via the status lights.
