I spent a good 30sec looking for it on the web.... are you able to get it's FCC-ID number?

You will need to open up your computer and find it on a label stuck onto the drive itself.

I am not able to read it as sticker is bent in funny way and can not read it.  if it helps it comes up with an on/off device error.

After an extensive search on the net and looking up everything i possibly could about my laptop i found that the dvd drive i it is generic and that it does not require drivers for it but uses power dvd software to be able to use it.  i would like to thank you for your help and ideas as i appreciated it.
