Recently I asked for help with the purchase of a Mac Book pro and some of you replied with usefull sugestions and advice. After carefull consideration,we decided to purchase the computer from the new NZ Apple online store. The fact that I was buying for my student daughter and they offerred student prices and the tossed in an ipod touch at n/c was a good incentive to buy online.
The order process was smooth and hassle free.I used the 0800 number, first of all speaking to a guy in Texas. He took the order.Shortly after,a lady rang from Singapore confirming the order.Ordered on the Monday and had the ipod two days later ex Sydney and the computer arrived ex Shanghi the following Monday. The receipt arrived ex Auckland! Quite an international sale.
Like buying an european car, they offerred the computer with an option list.We chose the 7200rpm drive and the hi res screen making the deivered price total $3906.94.
The only down side was we had to pay $336.52 for the "n/c" ipod and make a claim for that back after the computer had arrived.I have sent away the claim,so now wait in anticipation for the "cheque in the mail".
Even though a cosiderable amount of money was involved,I would not hesitate to buy from Aplle on line again. If not already purchased, perhaps earl29 should also consider this methoid. My daughter is one happy girl !
