Has anyone used HP QuickWeb and care to share impressions?

I have a HP dm1z, and replaced the original HDD with a SSD. It boots to Windows desktop pretty quickly, so I am divided about installing the HP QuickWeb software - not much gain if Windows itself boots so quickly.

For those of you who don't know, HP QuickWeb is a small Linux-based system that can boot in a matter of seconds, basically offering web browser, Skype, and a media player. Good for those times you want to complete quick tasks but don't have time/patience to wait for Windows to complete its boot process.

That was a resounding silence.

I figured Quickweb was HP seeing how consumers would respond to a mini-linux environment (rather than the stated purpose). If they had called it "Quick Windows" (impossible!) that might have helped a bit.

Earlier I read some concerns about Quickweb security posture in some areas, no idea which distribution.
