Hey everyone, my Samsung nc210 netbook was left in sleep for a while with an unknown amount of battery left, I came back to use it and it will not boot.
press power, blue power LED turns on, press again, turns off
Battery is charged according to the light, went from orange to green.
taking out battery and holding power does not do anything
Running without battery does nothing
Swapped Ram back to original 1gb stick, no change.

Is my next step to take it for repair through PB Tech?

Did you try taking out the battery, disconnecting the power and leaving it for a bit?

Yep, but will do it overnight now and see if it just needed more time.

Check the manual. There is often a recessed 'reset' button somewhere.

This forum needs a thanks button! Cheers GZT. There are 2 points by the ram slot that reset everything labelled RTC Reset. Touched both with the head of a small nail and everything booted again. Turns out hibernation file got corrupted and so system would not boot.
Do I just turn off hybrid sleep to avoid this again?

*EDIT* how do I mark this thread solved?
