Does anyone know of some good (pref free) sites where one can find windows drivers. Quite often I am finding that the manufacturer sites are missing some or have the odd faulty one.

I used to use driverguide but that site is now charging for their drivers

Pretty much a case of google.  If you know enough to look under the hood look at the device id in either registry or device manager. ie: VEN_1002&DEV_4383&SUBSYS_014E1025&REV_00   or  VID_0951&PID_1607.

then google the id, you'll probably find a few references to INF files that will have the manufacturer and/or product identifier, then go off and download the driver.

I use Station Drivers to locate some of the hard-to-find ones. It's in French and does have some pop-ups though.
