I have a new IPhone SE and cannot send or receive MMS.
Yesterday I was in our local Spark store for help and the assistant and I were able to send an MMS back and forth to each other no problem.
I leave the store and try to send a MMS to my daughter but she does not receive it. (Phone goes through the sending process) Nor do I receive a MMS from her. She is able to send MMS to others.
I try another number but same result, not received.
Can someone advise please?

1) Most important does your handset advise ' message sent ' when sending a MMS to your daughter?

2) Why not use WhatsApp?

Are you send iPhone to iPhone or iPhone to android? If iPhone to android you need 50c on account to send mms. iPhone to iPhone is imassage, so just need data for it to work.

While in the store were you using the carrier MMS or iMessage? Is the MMS setting turned on in settings > messages?

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Not really answering your question, but whats app is a good way to send "MM"

If someone doesn't have data enabled on their phone while away from home, then it is common. Lots of people especially thos eon prepay, use their phones on wifi most of the time and rarely use mobile data.

I would suggest the OP turns off mobile data and wifi, and then try testing to see if MMS is working

It has to use some form of data if you're using iMessage. But don't true MMSs get sent as a fixed charge not using casual or plan data? So if they were to MMS a non-Apple device they would it be delivered but with an MMS charge against their account? (I'm kind of thinking aloud here - I haven't sent an MMS in many years. I send Viber, WhatsApp, SIGNAL, LINE, WeChat etc. on a daily basis using my pre-paid plan data though).

Do any of the telcos have a plan that includes MMS?
