All international sites and https requests are down for me, some other people also reporting the problem.
Been down for an hour now.

All other domestic traffic is good.

I can only access NZ hosted sites with HTTP, but anything with HTTPS. Seems like the cache has died after weeks of playing up (no wikipedia or photos on facebook). HTTPS traffic is not cached, so it should be unaffected (though it sounds like yours is).

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=39&topicid=80102 has already been discussing the problems had over the previous weeks.

It looks like the entire country is affected. How embarrassing for Telecom. :/

Hmm i can't load facebook or wikipedia at all - and i haven't been having any of the problems others have been having on the other thread.

also domestic https traffic like my bank is out, but i can load all normal pages on my banks site.

interesting that gmail is overseas and https and is still working for me?

This is going to be a PR disaster for Telecom. Would love to see the charts of the traffic from NZ to the world plummeting.

Totally down for me, if I go to my site using IPv6 things are fine though.

If only more sites used IPv6

So that would be why GMail works, as it is always on HTTPS for everyone!
