Hi all,

I arrived in Auss yesterday and my 3GS still cannot find the local carrier.
I'm with XT and have a data package.
My wife and sister in law have a 3GS no data and a 4G with data and automatically joined Telstra.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Biggin

No ideas. Can you see any networks at all?

Makes no difference if you have a data pack or not though, as data as charged at roaming rates.

Has roaming worked on your number before?

This should be posted under the Telecom section on Geekzone

I will give Telecom a call today.
The carrier setting is on automatic, currently shows 'searching'.
