That's nice to see. I was getting so angry seeing the comments on Spark's status on facebook. I realise changing your DNS is not simple for some but holy balls some people were just plain rude.
I feel sorry for the engineers, what a cr4p thing to happen on a weekend!!
You're not wrong, and thanks - myself and quite a few others probably did 36 hours this weekend...
BTW, From our side, the DNS still looks good...
And in very brief response to some of the other comments, the DNS infrastructure is distributed, with load balanced instances in different geographic locations. Each instance is connected to the core network by 2 different paths and each DNS server is connected to the redundant switch (and router) infrastructure by multiple bonded GigE interfaces.
I swear that from some of the comments some people think we just have an old 386 laptop hanging off a jetstart connection doing DNS :-)
