GP have always been rather immature about their posting - ie: "Someone bichslap Geekzone website"... Just shows the levels of immaturity online .

Hilarious, it was obvious it was never going to last with it being spread to so many people.

If it was bypassed in the fashion that was explained to me yesterday then it would be only a matter of time before Telecom noticed the extra traffic in the wrong placeTongue out

Um.... this thread has absolutely nothing to do with bloody Rapidshare. I dont even USE rapidshare, and Rapidshare has nothing to do with what Telecom are having issues with. It's ALL http. Not Rapidshare.

That method is still working fine for me and has been for months. Great way to get full speed 24/7.

It's not rocket science but that method was affected by the 100 KB/s rate shaping unless you combine it with an additional trick (which is now fixed apparently) that the guy on gp forums was promoting.

You must just be lucky bbunnys.

Anyway this whole situation would make an interesting case study in human nature imo.

Yes.... I can see it now - Nation Geographic channel presents "The Human Nature of the Computer Geek"... very interesting viewing indeed!

Don't be surprised if their work-around is still working, they just want everyone to think it's been fixed so that they can keep using it and it doesn't get widespread enough for Telecom to take action.

Or maybe I'm just cynical Undecided
