Don't worry. We won't be sending out texts at 3am

tardtasticx: 5 minutes people :P

Wonder which lucky ones will get it within minutes?

I'm in around the area close to the old CIT building - haven't seen anything happen yet when it comes to 4G coverage, i guess it is only being switched on for those close near the Wellington CBD.

Yeah I'm out in South Auckland. We don't get DC coverage so I doubt I'll see it tonight but maybe tomorrow in town I might.

Wow. That coverage map in Auckland is damn impressive. It seems like it covers nearly every area surrounding me, except for my place! Of course :) but bravo Telecom, if your network really is that large on day 1 then I'm impressed.

Just switched on for me.

15Mb down, 10Mb up but that's with 1 bar. Think I live right on the edge of a 4G site.

47.84 down, 27.24 up, Northcote Point, Auckland, iPhone 5S, 3 bars

Funny, my iPad Air says LTE, my iPhone 5s says 4G on the display. I wonder why the difference?

Edit: update: consistently greeting 53 down, 31 up, iPhone 5s, 3 bars.

Quick tip, if you test your speed and get say 40 meg down and 30 meg up, it might pay to check your usage because you probably just used up 70 meg of your allowance!

I got 65Mb/s down 19Mb/s up in Te Atatu South. Only did one test as I don't want to burn thru all my data.

Awesome work from Telecom, much better coverage than Vodafone, at least so far. Getting good signal at home.
