Got the 4G icon on my iPhone 5!

Just did a speed test and got with 3 bars, 81.39 Mbps download and 14.99 Mbps upload in Newmarket, Auckland area.

Also Speedtest just used 132 MB of my data!

Holy smokes that is fast!

Cheers,
Chris

Looking forward to this taking the load off the 3G network. I'd like to request everyone buy 4G phones and 4G be rolled out everywhere, thanks :D

Still don't understand wtf is going on with respect to my HTC One (purchased from Telecom store).

Put my 4G sim in last week. Haven't received a supposed update people have been talking about. I'm in the coverage area, just turned off Wi-Fi and no sign of 4G. Check mobile data settings, GSM/WCDMA auto selected with no sign of 4G / LTE..

Was able to force mine over to test using 4G using *#*#4636#*#* and selecting mobile GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto. Looks like no update pushed out to the HTC one yet as there's no option to select LTE using the standard menu. Bit strange, come on Telecom!

Then the LTE network will be as slow as the 3G network..

My Z1 that I bought from clove in the UK has 4G up and running. Very nice and fast, I'm loving it.

I have a HTC One (purchased from Warehouse Stationary) with a custom rom ARHD 31.0 and firmware 3.62.401.1 and I have 4G (although it shows as LTE) in Central Wellington and Haitaitai only one bar fluctuating to two bars. Also had LTE for a small amount of time on a hill in Johnsonville but nothing anymore.
