It seems then the solution is to change providers.

garvani: i use isky religiously! including last nights origin game from the comfort of my bed! There's always someone in the lounge watching something id rather not, so having the option to stream it live in reasonably decent quality is awesome!

Also i feel your pain, as i am moving to telstraclear on the weekend and they don't have it unmetered either, this 40gb plan is going to be hard work!

Oh dear - I hope you know about the Telstra DNS work-around in order to watch iSKY if you have Telstra...

NonprayingMantis: why don't you just get a bigger data cap?

Barely use my 10gb as it is, just seems dumb increasing when changing companies can solve my problem lol.

Vodafone
Orcon
Slingshot
Woosh
Xnet
Snap
Wiz Wireless
Farmside
PlaNet

Thats a lot of ISP's that do unmetered for it :/

Old article dunno if still relevant.

you probably don't actually have a 10GB cap.  the plan that was 10GB (Total home Lite) has been upgraded to 30GB in the last couple of months.

it wiul pay to check what plan you are actually on.

I'm lost... you barely use your 10gb allowance... so why is it a problem if iSky uses some of it?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Not definitely. Unless you can quote a source?
