Can anyone tell me why Telecom and SKY don't have an agreement together so I can watch iSKY without chewing through my usage? aka Unmetered traffic..

Wanted to watch Origin (League) and noticed it would use over 1gb just to watch the game. Sucks when I have a tiny data cap.

Data caps on telecom got increased - how are you on a low data plan? Its even cheaper than ever before to get more data.

Does EVERY other ISP unmeter iSky? If they ALL do, you have a good point. Otherwise not.

I'd like my power company to unmeter Winter!

Some ISPs might have to pay less or nothing at all for transit traffic. Perhaps Telecom does have to pay. In these cases ISPs can't just give traffic for free.

Sorry, but until this changes your options are to change plans (although there was an increase in data caps last month or so), or change ISPs.

i use isky religiously! including last nights origin game from the comfort of my bed! There's always someone in the lounge watching something id rather not, so having the option to stream it live in reasonably decent quality is awesome!

Also i feel your pain, as i am moving to telstraclear on the weekend and they don't have it unmetered either, this 40gb plan is going to be hard work!

...so get a bigger plan!
It's only going to be something like $10-20/month to upgrade to a substantially larger plan (for example, going from Total Home Lite 30GB to Total Home Broadband 120GB is a $20 difference, Telstracleaar has similar options) and the extra data enables you to do so much more. You would have to wtach over 100 hours of isky to make the difference up there.

Most people spend considerably more than $20/month just on coffees so why the huge reluctance to upgrade?

Same here; there's is always someone watching something else in the lounge so I watch sports on iSky.

Barely use my 10gb as it is, just seems dumb increasing when changing companies can solve my problem lol.
