tallmaninthecnr: Unsure howhow to access the Sim menu, but actually able to reply to this roaming?

Settings -> Phone -> SIM Applications -> Roaming Menu -> Manual -> TNZ -> Accept

That should sort you out.

Thanks but these are not options I see on my SGS2

Sorry I thought you had an iPhone (my bad!)

Under All Applications -> SIM Toolkit -> Roaming Menu -> Manual -> TNZ

And see if that works.

Otherwise I suggest you ring the roaming helpdesk on +64 3 371 0866 and they can assist you further.

You'd need a password from the Roaming Help Desk to do that (iPhone's being the exception).

Don't forget Roaming Smart Cap's will restrict your data usage to $150 (for most customers) per billing month, so you may have hit you cap. Data roaming is expensive, so where possible find a local Starbucks (not hard in NYC!) and make use of their WiFi services.
