 I still get full bars and ive checked under status its receiving umts;3 ? I have full signal is it radio problem ? because it still cant recognised the network. :(

Its a I-9300T model ? does this make a difference ?

As long as you have flashed a compatible modem you should be able to select the network bands from the *#*#4636#*#* menu

Have you had it confirmed by a telco that it's not blacklisted?

They said my imei number isnt black listed. And my build and base bands are

Build I9300TDUALF2

BAseband  I9300TDULF2

Does this help ?

In the network select it has
GSM Service EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY
Network type UMTS;3

Turn on IMS regstrations required ??? its off at the moment?

You know how telecom xt runs on WCDMA 850hz 2100hz It doesnt say anything about that being emergency calls only ? any way to turn of the gsm and just run through wcdma ?

That's a good point, check under wireless and networks and make sure "use only 2G networks" is not ticked.

If you type in *#*#4636#*#* into the dialler and select phone information, there should be an option to select preferred network type from a drop down list. Make sure it's set to WCDMA only or WCDMA preferred.

Progress, come up with Telecom NZ network in that *#*#4636#*#* network diagnostics. 35810040174343 / 02 imei. still emergency calls. Any way to receive the message and calls through the mobile data entry ?

I know it shouldn't be done, but can you make a emergency call. also have you spoken to telecom to see if they can see the device trying to authenticate etc. they should be able to see the device trying to access and should see why it fails.




Anything I suggest or say is my own thoughts and not provided by anyone else unless stated

Wow ! says emergency number.... out of service area ! :O and hate to say it but im getting free mobile data from somewhere.
