What does audio mean ? Latest tweet and earlier tweets refer to audio..

@chrisjquin: On next audio re widespread broadband outage, services still affected and not authenticating yet. Teams have multiple plans underway.

It means they are on a phone conference (aka audio or audio conference) trying to sort it out.

I'm furious. My internet went down approx 1.30 am. I immediately got on the phone to faults and was hold for 40mins without getting through. Does everyone at Telecom go home at night? I run a business with most of my clients in America so often work through the night. I can't believe that our national carrier doesn't monitor their systems 24hrs a day. I wake to find that the fault was only acknowledged at 6am, hours after the problem started. I have a launch today, if Telecom doesn't get this fixed ASAP I will be changing to a different provider. /rant

People leaders at Telecom have been advised of 8am as the latest ETR (estimated time to resolve). Certainly not definite tho - just an indication. This has been ongoing since approx 1am this morning.

Please be advised this is not just affecting Telecom - this is a Chorus issue caused by a planned upgrade to the "BBA stack"so is affecting customers of all providers using the Chorus network as far as I am aware. I assure you the systems are monitored 24 hours a day but sometimes a solution is not easily forthcoming.

I have been advised the next update will be at 0815 and the Chorus technical teams "are working to restore service as our highest priority and we believe they are currently close to a solution".

Sometimes works.. Usually just vignette junk.. Status page needs to be better than 20 more pages of the following..

com.vignette.config.client.common.ConfigException: 09/27/2012 00:37:58:848, Error 1 (DbError), Message 026-030-0005: Failed to get database connection. at com.vignette.as.config.ConfigUtil.getJDBCConnection(ConfigUtil.java:961) at com.vignette.as.server.persist.AsObjectSqlQueryBase.setDbSchema(AsObjectSqlQueryBase.java:1409) at com.vignette.as.server.persist.AsObjectSqlQueryBase.executeSqlQuery(AsObjectSqlQueryBase.java:1822) at com.vignette.as.server.persist.ManagedObjectSqlQuery

You run consumer broadband and work from home?

I assume you have a backup connection in case your consumer broadband goes down
