Yes it has rained about the same time. I did think about that but it was on a couple of mm and not heavy. Will open up the connection case on side of house and have a look. Will also check the new wire which runs under house

not enough time to read into your error rates too much, but looks like your back down to 10 attention..

right now, close on 0.6 CRCPM.. which isnt bad..

what DLM profile are you on now? INP, latency values?

any chance the rain stopped? could be a dodgy link on your line when its wet..

pretty sure on the Thompson, you keep clicking on dsl stats etc, and you will land at a page with the INP values..

otherwise if you can get into telnet, do a xdsl info expand=enabled (it could be dsl not xdsl, i dont quite remember..)

your latency by speedtest would land you on a 8ms each way profile, so DLM 2/4/6.. if its at 6 which i suspect it would be by now, errors tend to be rather non existent on a clean line.

ild suspect whatever was broken on your line has been fixed, and so you should drop back to your original profile at some point..

Got a tech coming to look at it tomorrow. They have no idea and will be using it as a case study to help them in the future.

Problem solved.
Tech came in and fixed it. Wouldnt really tell me much other than he fixed some wiring between the cabinet and my house. Mention he water proofed a wire also. So the rain could have been the cause. Anyway, Im happy and its running even faster than before at 43 down :)
