Because I call them up to get a GST invoice so I can claim the GST back?

If you are topping up less than $50 then you don't need a receipt to claim the gst back

If you are buying a topup voucher from a shop it will have gst incuded and the shops gst

If you are topping up online it will have the gst reciept. You can claim it from those

Trying to decide if I'm still better off on the Weekly combo (I don't send that many texts, and use more minutes/data)

Yes im with you on this.
Im currently on Loose lips and 260 data per week which means Im paying $8 a week.
Dont think Id have enough data even with the 300 mb add on!!
Typically dont use my data allocation but sometimes I do.
There is something to be said for the flexibility of weekly plan.

If you log into your account and go into the My Account section then Payment History there is an option to print a GST receipt for your top-ups.

First thing I thought when I saw the new design was "They're going for the mass market". The new design is much more professional, and doesn't really stand out from the competitors, like it did. I mean, the old design was ugly, but at least it was unique - it really seemed like they were actually trying something different.

Now we have a (good) monthly combo, just like all the others - a common theme with the new skinny.

Oh well, at least the nice data-only plans are still there.

She is on the loose lips combo and last week was a first for her she went over the 60 NZ minutes. Might suggest to her to spend an extra dollar for another 250 texts as that is what she does most

I agree with you that if she wants to talk alot, Loose Lips is definitely the best combo for her

Otherwise stretch or Busy Fingers

You can only have one combo active (so that it renews) at a time. However if you cancel a combo the quota remains until its expiry date.

It was a deal I couldn't refuse. I have joined Skinny and left Vodafone after being with them for over a decade.

The killer reason for leaving Vodafone was the minimum $1 charge for data when used casually - just a few Kb of data each day meant $365 per year.
So I had to refrain from data use as much as possible. A work around was to put a second SIM in my dual sim phone, and use data from 2 degrees which charge only what I used.

This Skinny plan simplified everything for me, in one cheap plan. And I could pick my own number, so I found an easy to remember number with Skinny, and 'jumped ship'.

So far, for me, it has been the right choice :)

I have also a dual sim phone. Because the CDMA frequency is 850/2100, I use Skinny. My business number is still with 2 degrees. If Skinny had overseas roaming for Data, I would switch completely to Skinny.
