Chances are you have a Vodafone S4, Telecom like to push logos on startup where as Vodafone leave their roms unbranded.

Read my posts on this thread, from reply 951035 down, maybe next page too. I posted how I got mine to do it, on 4.2.2. Not sure why it worked but it did.

So it turns out Warehouse Stationary had 2D S4's in unbranded boxes... I've swapped the original one for a Telecom (heavily branded mind you) handset.

All seems well now. I feel dumb, but for what it matters, not all S4's are made equal. heh.

hmm I better get my Australian S4 "checked" with a 4g sim card before my city gets connected .. ummm ... by 2015?
