plambrechtsen:andrewNZ: In the case of south dunedin, I'm fairly convinced its congestion.
I don't believe I should have to navigate their their awful phone system and try to report something they should already be aware of. If their towers cant say "hey guys, im at 200% capacity again", then their system is... inadequate.
I look forward to you building your own network and seeing how easy it is to monitor congestion and cellsite performance.
I highly recommend to everyone ever having a congestion issue to log a coverage fault via 0800 800 163 and make sure that they drop a pin on the exact location to ensure the coverage team know where people are having issues. It also helps if many different customers all log faults so it's a consistent issue impacting multiple handsets and customers.
I really want to do this but i wish there was a faster way to do it. Talking to the prepaid helpdesk is nowhere near as nice as talking to telecoms other help desks or higher level support. If i knew reporting a coverage issue or fault took a couple of minutes tops, id do it more than in the times when i know i have at least 15 minutes spare.
