andrewNZ: Not sure where you are, but I often have serious data issues in and around South Dunedin anytime from 10:30 - 2:00. Pretty sure it's just far too much demand.

This. It is beyond annoying, anywhere between Portsmouth Dr and King Edward St there is no mobile data during the day. There is also no DC coverage anywhere in Dunedin except for a few areas where nobody lives or works.
Telecoms service quality in Dunedin has gotten consistently worse over the past year to the point that I will be switching to 2D or VF when my next billing cycle is over.
bradstewart:I have had a friend in wellington last week tell me their data couldn't connect either. I believe its a network wide issue, but i'm not sure if its actually going to be addressed any time soon... As much as i'd love to call up and log a complaint each time, going through the whole turning phone off and on again, taking out and putting back in SIM, checking APNs and all the usual troubleshooting steps is a chore, and not really how i like to spend my lunch break. When I have had time i've called up but it ends up being much longer than i'd like just to report an issue. These steps are there for obvious reasons i know, and i know they fix lots of issues.andrewNZ: Not sure where you are, but I often have serious data issues in and around South Dunedin anytime from 10:30 - 2:00. andrewNZ: In the case of south dunedin, I'm fairly convinced its congestion.
I don't believe I should have to navigate their their awful phone system and try to report something they should already be aware of. If their towers cant say "hey guys, im at 200% capacity again", then their system is... inadequate.
