BigPipeNZ:
Almost nobody cares about using IPv6 right now.

It's on our roadmap for sure, but is not an immediate concern.

give us a chance though, it's not like you can roll out IPv6 overnight.

Seems like an extremely shortsighted view. I guess you like spending more on CGNAT CAPEX than you otherwise would need to spend.

That turbo plan looks quiet tempting .....

Does Bigpipe have a transparent proxy? That would be the deciding factor for me.

IPv6 is a massive piece of work to deploy and virtually nobody in the residential broadband space needs it right now.
I'd much rather spend time on stuff like getting UFB out the door, improving customer experience for support etc.

So I see I need to supply my own VDSL modem. Can you guys recommend any?

I also see that you only accepting credit card payments. Is it possible for me to setup payments via internet banking?

Bought Draytek 130 (with airport extreme in full bridge) and it's been awesome!

sorry no.  Only credit card or visa debit.

For modems, it really depends on how techy you are.

Telecom sell a fairly decent VDSL modem/router for $150, but if you want to go higher end you have quite a few options, like the Fritzbox which is around $300-400

Draytek 130 at around $150 seems fairly popular as a standalone modem if you want to use a separate router.

Cheers for that. Is there a reason as to why you only accept credit cards? Surely it costs you guys more?

I'm pretty old school. I like to setup all my monthly payments via internet banking. I hate credit cards!!!

Sorry, not at this point.  Visa, Mastercard, or Visa Debit only.

We may add Amex at a later stage, but it adds more development work so we won't have it from April when we start charging.

Are you not able to get hold of a different card? Maybe use your own and claim it back from your boss?

Small price to pay for easier credit control processes

Snap is actually exactly the same.

However they have not billed my credit card in over a year because I have setup an automated payment into their account every month. Its not listed as one of their payment methods but they don't seem to mind.
