Can you please post the results of testing with speedtest.telecom.co.nz ?

Hmmm. Speedtest can get the pings wrong (more often on Mobile though) due to its methodology. It should be relatively solid on UFB.

The three Telecom location Speedtest.net servers are located directly on the closest L3 devices to our core and they are spectacularly uncongested and on their own unshared hardware.

Can you try this please?

And choose the Akl server, although all three would be more useful.

Also, what are your latencies and paths to the following three IP addresses? I am in Chch on VDSL and my latency to these is listed in brackets.

219.88.188.1 (23ms)
219.88.188.65 (11ms)
219.88.188.129 (5ms)

These aren't test servers, but are very well connected routers connected to the same network element as the speedtest servers.

Cheers - N
