Thanks to OP i know that you don't get a free upgrade from ADSL to Fiber if your a telecom customer!!

Well done in not reading the thread. Telecom confirmed there was no charge for moving to fibre. There is only a fee for going to VDSL.

kapitikarl: Yeah me too - I just wish I could have provided more dragons in the story. I did show my teeth and breath fire during my initial call to telecom if that counts.
