At least when you fix it, you will have a 17a profile at 70Mbps

I wouldn't move to VDSL in order to reduce latency. VDSL (in the right conditions) will improve throughput but latency can increase in many cases

It will but adsl usually has lower pings. I would take VDSL tho

In general terms, the shorter the line and lower the background noise, the better the latency will be on VDSL - ADSL latency is dependant on the interleaving setting which can be manually set, so can often be lower than VDSL. Under suitable conditions, the VDSL line will have significantly greater throughput though.

The DLM profile will only affect pings bud. The noise on the line doesnt affect it to make any difference.

If you want the lowest pings you can, you have to get and keep DLM-1, that requires not rebooting the router AT ALL. You reboot it once, you could get DLM-2 which adds 8ms of latency.

VDSL will always come in at slightly higher latency than the lowest you can get on ADSL due to the fact at the lowest DLM profile your still getting 1ms latency each way.

You have an Auditable issue on your POTS line, get that fixed, likely it will be the cause of your higher than expected atteuation - assuming your cable doesnt do a loop around.

Dont want out your 10 days. if spark wont touch your VDSL because of the Initial DLM period, simply report the POTS issue..

You should have them check the cable length to the cabinet rather than overland. Overland I'm about 100 meters from the cabinet but the line travels more than a Kilometer and closer to two. This has lead to massive instability problems and led to our ISP no longer even offering VDSL at our location. The Chorus reps who have come out have all said that if you are more than a kilometer away from the cabinet (cable length) that you are going to experience problems.

The only way you are going to see an improvement at the end of the DLM period is if you are extremely stable and very close (which it doesnt sound like you are with that attenuation) to the cabinet.

Hey guys now that the 12 days period are over, first i called spark regarding the line making interference and they fixed it, they also said my line is good nothing wrong with it, but here are my result on last dlm day profile......

DLM doesn't have a last day - it keeps working forever making adjustments as needed. It's just far more aggressive in making changes in the first 10 days.
