iv) be able to get Bigpipe UFB at your property (plans are only available in Auckland UFB areas currently - rest of country coming soon)

Can you clarify the above - do you mean the property must have an existing and working UFB connection?  I ask because my street is being dug up right now UFB, so I can GET ufb, just not today.

Sounds like this address will count. Check on our site. Basically, If you are able to sign up, then you can get this offer.

:-(

"Sorry you can’t get UFB with us yet"

Oh well, I will keep trying through the month.  VDSL 30/10 is nothing when you have been tempted by the 200/200 dream......

snowfly: How soon can you offer the 200Mbps/200Mbps plan in New Plymouth where UFF (not chorus) is the LFC?
And does the plan include a static IP, or can one be added?

1) don't know. soonish.
2) Nope. We don't currently offer static IP, but again, will be soonish.

You will be sucked into wanting more speed, and although you can checkout anytime, you can never leave :)

that's bcos coffeebaron can not get UFB = sour grapes ;p

neither can I :( the curse of geekz

Indeed, alas Putaruru is not on the plan at this stage. Might have to go with RBI over 4G :)

How about extending this offer to VDSL as so many of us can't get Fiber.

Rappelle: Say I just signed a 12 month contract with another ISP for UFB.. Would it now be impossible to switch without incurring dem big charges? ;)

Yes, you have agreed to that term so you need to see it thru or pay them out.

Or get a second connection and see if you can move your other ISP to a friends place who lacks internet and say you are moving house there.

Nothing specific, it's just that snap were one of the first to launch ufb, so logically will have most customers coming off contract right about now with their fritz boxes.
Orcon were the other rsp to launch ufb early, but they still own the router, meaning you have to give it back when you leave, so it's a harder sell to move to bigipe.

Spark, slingshot and Vodafone, comparatively, launched much later, so we assume will have fewer customers at the end of their contracts.

Damn you Chorus hurry up and get UFB down my street that 200/200 plan is only $10 more expensive than what I pay now for VDSL2 of 30/10 (which could get worse if more people jump on it on my cabinet area)
