Bigpipe I like your service and how you operate, your internet speeds are awesome but these ads are terrible.

The advertising style is completely inconsistent with how your website operates and if I were a new customer who knew nothing of ISPs in New Zealand and I saw these ads I wouldn't want to look any further at your products.

BigPipeNZ:
Demeter: Maybe I'm just too old, but these don't make me want to have anything to do with whatever they advertise. The Giganaire ad was clever at least. These atrocities are low-budget and just awful. Sorry.

Sadly some of us don't have the money to spend big bucks on expensive ad-production.

If I was going to be snarky I'd say that we prefer to spend $$$ on providing great customer service instead.  tongue-out

But hey, everyone has their own priorities amirite?

Wow, totally not a cheap shot. Complete lack of surprise over here.

Skinny managed to make a low-budget, perfectly acceptable, non-annoying ad FYI. But yeah you work for the company, I'm glad you're happy with the ad campaign. Good for you.

vexxxboy: the use of good to gooder annoys me more than the content.

Especially when i'm looking for an ISP, i want the goodest.

I was only grossed by the waste of coffee when the fat guy spilled it on himself. Wasting coffee is unacceptable.

Oh, we'd never use real coffee for an ad.

Coffee on-screen doesn't actually look like coffee.

So we used a coffee substitute, human blood.

I'm old, straight, and conservative.
I hate 99% of TV programs, and especially the boring adverts.
But these in-your-face ads are brilliant.
Congratulations Big Pipe smile
Better than the programs!

End of the day it's all about advertising and it doesn't matter how good or bad an ad might be the fact we're all talking about them (and by extension BigPipe itself) I'm sure would be seen as a positive thing by the company.

The Giganaire ads were terrible nothing really that clever about them, more annoying than anything. As for the line about man time in the bath there's no need for that, especially some of the time slots the ads were played. Kids are already growing up far to quickly.

The Bigpipe ads are okay but there's probably better ways of going about advertising an ISP.

I'm just glad I don't watch "normal" TV anymore.

Noticed they will be on TVNZ on demand and youtube, glad I ad block those :-)

Well my main problem is this advertising simply won't work for me - no UFB yet in Wellington.

However I think they're gooder than that damn Friday ad by Team Red.

Edit: ARRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

So many negative nancy's!

Bigpipe : keep on doing what you do,uv gotten this far! As mentioned above, vodafones ad's suck yet they keep bringing them out. Hell, the worse thing that could happen is your ads could win nz's worst tv ad....bonus...more free exposure!

You are competing between spark and vodafones ads.....not much competition there. Keep on keeping on! Marketing is a tricky one, perfection takes time!

The ads are ok, but would rather have free Lightbox for 12 months ............... (just doing the sums)
