AKLWestie: Did you order VDSL or ADSL from spark? You have a HG630b which suggests you ordered VDSL because spark give ADSL customers another brand of modem.

Do you have a master filter installed?

Sounds like you ordered VDSL but the install and/or provision was not done properly.

I did order it from Spark but the modems we have were given to us at our previous address-- should we be using a different modem?

Nope... Spark only supply 2 models of routers. HG630 for ADSL, VDSL and 100MB and below UFB. And the HG659 for UFB 100+. I had thought on a 100mb UFB plan you would get the 630, but it looks like on another thread you get the 659.
But all the Technicolor modems such as the TG582 and other brand modems aren't supplied for over a year now.

I think you answered that on the previous page, by June 2016? Flick me a message with your address if you would like me to check.

Hi all
Still having heaps of problems with our internet and it works great sometimes and then sometimes becomes impossible to use. A Chorus guy came and went today and we weren't told if there was any fault found at all.

Can anyone read modem logs who might know what these log entries are about? Besides "User is disconnected with ACS" notes in the log of which we must have 100 over the past few days, we're also seeing heaps of these sorts of entries below.. can anyone help decipher if these may be our problem?
Ihavent been doing any port mapping etc...

Many thanks for any help...

Thank you-- I get what you're saying now-- seems like a while to wait for working internet-- might have to go back to RBI--
Can you suggest any modem settings that might help us from constant disconnections (which is what our logs seem to show).

It says Skype TCP and Skype UDP. So it would just be Skype using the UPnP protocol to get your modem/router to automaticly do port mapping / forwarding. If you don't want Skype or any other program doing port forwarding behind your back. Disable UPnP in your modem/ router's settings.
