Telegistics is a horrible organisation - I remember having problems with a Lumia where I sent it back 3 times and each time they claimed there was nothing wrong with it after doing a factory restore at their repair centre. The Harvey Norman guy saw it freeze right in front of me and told him this was my third time sending it back. If anything the issue is Telegistics not doing their job.

please remember that the staff member behind the counter is only the messanger, nothing they can do, and the repair agent is following Samsungs instructions.

A very common reason for water damage I've seen (from working with them in the past) was actually due to people taking their phones in the bathroom with them when they shower.

Ask for the images to take to the TDR as these are free to obtain, you can from here request an escalation through Telegistics for somebody else to take a look. The problem is everyone (and I mean everyone - even if the phone is really blatantly liquid damaged) will say "oh, if has never been near water" so you can thank those who are dishonest for making the process notoriously difficult.

Got a call back from the Area Manager this afternoon re our Complaint.

She was trying to be very conciliatory in her approach I must say. But they are not prepared to drop the $350 charge for fixing the phone. Saying its basically got new innards.

A lot of the conversation was about the likelihood of Humidity- she commented on an increase of complaints recently this issue considering we have had a higher Humidity problem of recent times. This was among all brands not necessarily about my Galaxy Note 5.

This seems to suggest a valid complaint re the CGA and Not fit for purpose idea.

So I have gone back to the TDR to escalate.

This is really something I'd be contacting SAMSUNG about as well. Though if you go through the TDR you'll almost certainly get the outcome you desire.
