I'd wondered if there was some issue with copper in that area - throwing a few random addresses in that road into Chorus' public address checker shows either people connected to fibre, or a sub 4Mb/s DSL connection. Seems remarkably low given it's a cabinetised area showing as >10Mb/s

I'm not seeing the OP's street as being cabinetised on the Chorus mapping system - it's in a pocket that has no cabnetisation in an area that is fully cabnetised.

Unless i missread things, OP is definately on HSN/CN (right on the edge of it's coverage).

 

 

 

The road itself, Total dead zone for copper though. I would suspect it goes through some feeder cabinets and loops back..

 

Have advised the OP to switch back to adsl, He is in a ROW and a MDU situation, currently stuck in the consent denied stage sadly.

 

 

 

There is a decent opportunity to make friends and use a P2P link in the meantime however based off the location and availability of active ufb links.
