sdavisnz:

Spyware:

 VDSL2 connection requires VLAN tagging.

yes for spark, but bigpipe?

VLAN tagging is required for all VDSL2 connections and ADSL2+ if your ISP supports native EUBA using IPoE/PPPoE rather than PPPoA translation.

Okay, I entered "10" for that, as per BP's instructions and tried VLAN priority as "7" but no joy. Any suggestions for VLAN priority?

Does your device pick up an IP address on its WAN interface? It should be set to obtain it automatically on PPPoE with VLAN 10 tagging as mentioned. If you've entered anything in the service name field this will likely cause the line not to authenticate.

Do you see VDSL sync on the line stats at all?

Perhaps post some screenshots of your config as is, and the modem's DSL and WAN status pages?
