Or a NZ based Cloud provider with local support and storage and backup from someone like Onenet. More expensive, worth every cent.
nunz:
Try to log onto web portal. Cant. Hack username and password out of email client to ensure its not wrong. It's not.
xtramail.co.nz redirects to some other site which redirects to a spark portal with crud about checking if we have migrated .Put in email - we haven'tmigrated - surprise surprise.
Redirects to yahooo.com
Sign in again.
Redirects to NZ yahoo.
Click on xtra mail - page not found.
Backup , click on mail - forced to sign in again.
Sign in fails.

I know there is going to be some pain during the change over
but surely to God, at least 1 person at spark would test the new webmail portal to make sure the damn thing actually works
If it doesnt work, then dont link to it
If it doesnt work, at least put that up on the Spark status page
As above, I wasted time trying to get into xtra webmail : It wouldnt accept vaild login/pass
Finally went to yahoo's webmail portal & logged in there
It also doesnt help, when the help desk has no idea about whats going on, has no idea about current issues & simply blames the customers setup.
Yes , its just a rant. Yes there will be issues. But please.... some basic basic things .
The client I was helping did decide to move away from xtra, but still had to access old emails(at least once) & put in an email forward via webmail.
I can pass on some feedback to the migration team if required, and you can articulate the problem clearly.
I am not going to try and decode your original post, as it's looking like just a rant. Calling CSR's twerps won't get you far.
