2Degrees same deal noted since 930. Most the grannies round here wont notice TCP timeouts and sub 1mbit connection. But Netflix sure does!

Ha! Small world. Thought I'd check since Talkiet said a few lines on my street seem to be having similar issue.

Called 2D HD, and they weren't aware of anything reported specific to area.

But are of some users in northland not able to use netflix and youtube (sound familiar). Was about to get me to factory reset router until I pointed out I had done most major checks and someone in same boat had lost it about 230am here.

CAn see my connection flapping from about the same time. Went off to network engineers and said they got a call at the same time from someone nearby and a few customers hanging off the area flapping also. Theirs between 230 and 4am. So were going to raise with chorus ('but possibly already know..')

So.Painfull.

Yes. An issue was discovered and fixed early this morning. It was in the wholesale lfc network.

My phone appreciates it. Didn't like being thrown on the floor so much.

Out of curiosity, whats your profile speed at?

I've been bumped from the 30/10 to 50/10 it seems. But not sure when that applied, possibly a result of my call in or said 'oopsy'

If Chorus is your LFC (Local Fibre Company) our lowest speed plan is now 50/10.

Surely is. Original BoF area. No change in ISP since moving in some 4-5 or so years. But could have sworn there was no notice and most tests were still the 30/10 previously :)

The change only happened last week.  I'm sorry but I don't have any information on how this was being communicated to existing customers.
